Privacy Statement

This statement explains what information Hyper Tech Research, Inc. collects when you use this website, why, and the choices and rights you have. Last updated October 17, 2026.

Who we are

Hyper Tech Research, Inc., 539 Industrial Mile Road, Columbus, Ohio 43228, USA, is responsible for this website. Contact us about privacy at mtomsic@hypertechresearch.com or +1 740-517-3569.

What we collect and why

  • Your IP address and the country or region it indicates. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, receives your IP address when you visit and tells our site your country (and US state). We use this to show the site in a suitable language, to show the privacy notice for your region, and to keep the site secure. We do not store your IP address. The country code is kept in a cookie named ht-geo for one day.
  • Your settings. Your language and privacy choices are saved in your browser (local storage) so we do not ask again. They do not leave your device.
  • How the site is used. To improve the site we measure page views, the page you came from, browser and device type, and country, using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across other websites. In the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland we do this only if you accept.
  • What you send us. If you email us or request the CROSSOVER NDA, we use your name, company, contact details and message only to reply and to manage your request.

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

Legal bases (UK, EEA and Switzerland)

Usage analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Language, region and security: our legitimate interest in running a secure site that you can read in your language. Your messages and NDA requests: steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries.

Who processes it

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and provides the location lookup and analytics as our processor. Our email provider handles messages you send. Some of these providers are in the United States; transfers from the UK, EEA and Switzerland rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, its UK extension and Swiss framework where the provider is certified, or on standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

The ht-geo cookie expires after one day. Analytics are kept in aggregate. Enquiries and NDA requests are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and our business relationship, and then deleted.

Your rights

  • UK, EEA and Switzerland: you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy, and withdraw consent. You can complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
  • California and other US states with privacy laws: you can ask to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of; we honor Global Privacy Control signals. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
  • Elsewhere: contact us and we will respond in line with the law that applies to you.
